The Food Fairy provided outstanding hors d’oeuvres for a hundred plus who showed up to support Planned Parenthood and enjoy music by Lost in the Trees at the Carrboro Arts Center. What was the Springtime menu?
Sunflower Seed Pate with Crackers & Dijon, Simple Soaked Almonds, Whipped Chevre or Whipped Ricotta on Crusty Bread Topped with either Moroccan Carrots or Cantaloupe Salad with Black Pepper, Watermelon & Jicama Salad, Strawberries & Mozzarella with Mint Drizzle, Mini Lime Basil Poundcakes, Macadamia Nut-Butter Cookies (gluten free) and Coffee was donated by The Open Eye Café http://openeyecafe.com/. http://www.plannedparenthood.org/centralnc/

When A Prairie Home Companion came to Durham in May, 2009, The Food Fairy was selected to cater meals and snacks (hospitality) both Friday and Saturday - two breakfasts, two lunches and one dinner - for the entire cast, guests and crew. Host Garrison Keillor was moved to say, “A Prairie Home Companion never ate so well as when the Food Fairy fed us backstage at Durham in May 2009 – all fresh and light and healthy – just as we wish our show could be."
